Jamboree-on-the-Air will be Saturday October 18th from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m in the parking lot of the Boy Scout office located at 2266 South College Road Ext., in Lafayette; (Next to Nimbo's Restaurant). Come out and operate and show the Scouts what our hobby is all about.

What is Jamboree-on-the-Air?  It is an annual Scouting and amateur radio event sponsored by the World Scout Bureau of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Thousands of amateur radio stations around the world  participate.

In the U.S. Cub Scout dens and Boy Scout patrols visit a local amateur's ham shack during JOTA, giving Scouts a chance to exchange greetings with Scouts from other areas, states and countries.
