Shown on the picture on the right is Charlie Morrison KI5XP, AARA Club President (r.) presenting Danny Daigle KD5JSM (l.) a Icom V8 Sport VHF handi-talkie.
     Each year some lucky club member is randomly selected by a drawing to receive this prize.  In order to be eligible for the drawing, you must attend a monthly general meeting and be a paid member in good standing.  At each meeting a sign-in roster is passed around for all attending the meeting.  The club secretary (Randy Castille N5MLJ in this case) takes the roster and enters each members name into the sealed canister.  On the meeting after our annual hamfest, a name is pulled from the pool and he or she is the lucky winner.
