On January 23, 2003 the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. celebrates their 50th year of being affiliated with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). We have scheduled a "Special Event" station on the weekend of July 5 & 6th, 2003. Check page 95 of the June 2003 issue of QST for listing.

For those making contact with our Special Event Station and would like to recieve a Certificate or QSL card, just send the proper SASE. A view of the 8 1/2" X 11" certificate can be seen by clicking on the thumbnail on the left. The QSL card is still in the design stage at this time.

We will be operating our Amateur Mobile Operating Service Van (AMOS) from the QTH of KD5JSM & KD5TJZ Danny & Kathy Daigle. Our club will also be holding a picnic at this time. ARRL Affiliated Club Record for the AARA

Louisiana QSO Party 2001 - FIRST PLACE WINNERS - Multi-Op, Hight Power on September 30, 2001. We used the Lafayette Parish Emergency Operations Center during this event.
