AARA 2001 FIELD DAY

This year the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. took part in Field Day (after a few years of in-activity), which fell on June 23rd & 24th. The event was held at Cajun Field on the corner of Congress and Bertrand Drive. We operated three amateur stations. One, a novice station on ten meters operated under KB5NMO, the other two stations operated on 40/20/15 meters and operated under W5DDL the club call. We were operating as 2 Alpha.

Walter Comeaux, President of Lafayette Consolidated Government, proclaimed the week of June 17th thru 24th as Amateur Radio Week in Lafayette Parish.

The following are some of the pictures taken during Field Day. I have made three pages in order to speed up loading graphics. I hope you will enjoy them.
