RAYNE HAMFEST 2002 PICTURES

The Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. held it's annual Hamfest in Rayne, LA
on Friday, Saturday, Sunday March 8th, 9th, and 10th. Friday afternoon started the event
off with a Fais Do Do Cajun Dance and Bar-B-Que with live Cajun music.
Saturday the doors opened to the 42nd AARA Hamfest & Louisiana State ARRL Conventtion
at 8:00 am. Sunday the doors opened at 8:00 am and the drawing for the Grand Prizes were
held at noon.
Winners were:
1st Grand Prize ICOM 718 Transciever Mark Colvin KB5XV Dubach, LA
2nd Grand Prize Alinco 12 v 32 amp PS Edward Scheufele AB5RS Ocean Springs, MS
3rd Grand Prize ICOM T-2H Handi-talkie Mike Dronet KD5PCW Crowley, LA
Below are some of the pictures that were taken at the Hamfest. I have added some
captions to a few, if you can help me with the names, I will add them. Just give me a
picture number and a caption. I will be adding some more pictures as they come in.
