The Acadiana Amateur Radio Association hold their monthly meeting the first
Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Red Cross Building at 101 Pat St., Scott,
LA which is just off Ambassador Caffery and Willow St.
Also, each Wednesday at 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, "Hams" in the Lafayette area meet at
"THE GOLDEN CORRAL" located 3110 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, Louisiana.
The location is on Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. between Johnston and Congress at the entrance of
the big WAL-MART Store. This is a buffet style meal. They have everything you want to
eat from salads to deserts. We have been seated in a semi-private room that is clean, quiet,
and well lit. I think you will like the Golden Corral, I have not heard any negative comments
so far.
So come on out and visit!
ABBEVILLE AMATEUR RADIO GROUP
We are meeting very informally at the Pizza Hut on the By-Pass in Abbeville every Tuesday
at 11:30 AM. Buffet usually runs around $6 with a drink and there is a discount with the
Liberty Card. All are welcome. Check into the 147.06 for directions or info.
NEW IBERIA AMATEUR RADIO GROUP
The group in New Iberia meet at Charlie's on Parkview, across the bayou across the street
from the City Park. We get together the second Thursday of each month at about 6:30 PM.
