The Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. owns, maintains, and operate two 2 meter repeaters. Only the 146.820 repeater has phone patch for members only.

Now back at the KRVS tower. This repater is located 2 miles NNE of Duson, Louisana. The elevation is approximately 327 feet above ground and has an output of about 45 watts into a DB-224 antenna. For pictures of tower site and more details, go to:W5EXI repeater details. 146.820 - 600
This repeater is located about 1/4 mile SSE of I-10 and Ambassador Caffery on the DataCom tower on Willow St. in Lafayette. It is approximately 350 feet above ground and has an output of about 30 watts into a DB-224 antenna with battery and generator backup. This repeater is generaly monitored during the day and gets the most use.
