QSL Card for KN5GRK

This is a front view of the QSL card that I send out to radio operators who request one, or to persons in exchange for other cards that I need for awards.
I use my computer to custom make my own cards. I buy 8 1/2" x 11" card stock and have a print shop cut it in half

to make 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" sheets. I use MS Word 97 to lay out both sides of my card. I then put a full sheet of card stock in my Cannon BJC 4000 printer, run a test print. I then use this test print to make a template guide for the half sheet of card stock. I then drop a half-sheet of the card stock in the guide and make a copy, I then flip the half-sheet over and make another print. This makes two QSL cards that can now be cut into using a paper cutter. You may have to make some changes in the program layout to make both sides overlap each other, this is probably the hardest part.

The nice thing about doing it this way is: If at any time the information on your QSL card changes, it is not hard to make these changes and you print only the amount you need.
